Hey! Say! 7 Ultra Power!
Konbanwa! This is Hey! Say! 7’s Okamoto Keito!
Today, I’d like to start by reading this message.
This is from Tokyo, radio name An-san.
Konbannu! I am a first year middle school girl who loves JUMP.
The other day, I had the first sports festival in middle school.
During the class relay, which I looked forward to the most, the song that was playing in the background was the song that Keito-kun wrote the lyrics to, Hero!
My class failed on passing the baton and we were in last place, but thanks to Hero, we were able to get up to second place in an instant.
Thanks to that, my tension went up as well.
By the way, when we entered the grounds, it was Perfect Life, which Hikaru-kun wrote.
It was a sports festival in the rain, but it was a lot of fun.
This makes me happy.
But then her class failed on the baton pass and thanks to Hero got up to 2nd place in an instant.
Was it really thanks to Hero?
I think about things like this lately.
I feel negative lately. (lol, why, what happened Keito? this makes me think of Tanimura-kun lol)
But I want to go to this middle school. I’ve never done a sports festival.
Even here, at the high school I went to, we didn’t have a sports festival.
Ah, actually there was, but no, even though I say sports festival, there were only 2 activities. There was only soccer and volleyball.
It was soccer in the morning and then volleyball in the afternoon.
And then there was only one team, so I remember having a ton of leisure time, but then if I didn’t go, I wouldn’t get to participate in it.
And the sports festivals from when I was in England was also different.
Like, relays and “nawahiki”…what’s it called again?...ah, it’s “tsunahiki”. (T/N: tsunahiki=tug of war, but both the words “nawa” and “tsuna” mean rope in Japanese)
“Nawa” I was close, but it wasn’t anything like that, it was a super genuine sports festival.
Over here we have tug of war and relays, but over there, it’s like javelin, shot put, running long jump, triple jump…and then you get rankings in each one.
That’s why I want to try one like the ones here. So if it’s okay, please tell me and I’d like to participate in it.
Can I? (laughs)
Well, if I can, then…
That said, please enjoy Okamoto Keito’s Hey! Say! 7 Ultra Power until the end!

Hey! Say! Words!
This corner is the corner where we say lines that we would normally never say, Hey! Say! Words.
I would like to…pour in…my feelings and read the lines.
I’ll probably put in my feelings.
Okay, in front of me, there are 5 messages with lines written on them.
They are all face down so I don’t know what kind of lines are written on them.
Then I’d like to pick one out from among them and read it.
Which one should I pick?
Let me just…
(Staff: You can’t look, you can’t look!)
It’s okay, it’s okay, the people listening can’t see!
(Staff: You can’t!)
I can’t?
Darn it.
Okay, this one!
I see, this kind.
This is from Nagano-ken, radio name Hababon-san (aka
hannalovescali!! so happy for you that he read your message!!)
Hababon, Hababon.
It makes you want to say it, Hababon.
Everyone, all together…Hababon!
I guess that’s not it.
Keito-kun konichiwa! I am doing archery and I get nervous during competitions, but if Keito-kun would say these words I’d like to record it and listen to it before every competition….Ah, please don’t (laughs). Onegaishimasu.
I mean…something like this…It’s totally okay for me to say this but…
If people see me as a male character that appears in a shojo manga—nevermind. (laughs)
Then please give me some sort of countdown.
(Staff: In 3 seconds, 2, 1, Cue!)
It’ll be okay! I know how hard you’ve worked. I love you who shines more than anyone else. Ganbare!
…Like I said, it’s fine for me to say things like this but…
I don’t want to be misunderstood.
I don’t want people to think that I’m always saying stuff like this.
(Staff: *laughs* It’s okay!)
It’s okay?
Well it’s a line that I would definitely not say, right?
Well that said, from now on please keep sending fun—(laughs) I don’t want to.
One more?
Which one should I do?
They can’t see, so it’s okay! (laughs)
Etto…I see.
This is from Tokyo, radio name Sesshirun-san.
Konbanwa. I’m a second year middle schooler who love JUMP too much.
One of my close friends is an Arashi fan and I thought I wanted to be told something like “hyakunen saki mo ai wo chikau yo, kimi wa boku no subete sa” (T/N: I vow to love you even 100 years from now, you are my everything, lyrics from Arashi’s “One Love”)
That’s why I want to be told lines from JUMP lyrics from the most gentlemen of 7, Keito-kun.
I see.
It’s totally fine but…
If I say something like this and people think I’m a guy that appears in a shojo manga—nevermind.
Okay, come on.
(Staff: In 3 seconds, 2, 1, Cue!)
Dare yori mo soba ni iru yo (I will be with you more than anyone else)
Shinpainai sa (You don’t have to worry)
Nakimushi na kimi dakara mamori tsuzuketai (Because you’re a crybaby, I want to keep protecting you)
Kore kara saki mo issho da yo (We will be together from now on)
(T/N: Lyrics from “together forever”. Sorry the way I translated it isn’t so poetic xD)
I said it.
I probably say this every time, but when I do this after such a long time, it makes me sweat from places I’ve never sweat before in this Hey! Say! Words corner.
I still can’t get used to this.
I should probably get used to this soon…
I mean, I am an idol (laughs).
Well that said, from now on, please keep sending in fun lines!
The end, this was Hey! Say! Words.
Here please listen to a song.
