had a lot of fun with my friends again today xD what a great way to start off my winter break haha. hung out with my friends the entire day. we went to visit our high school together to visit our old Japanese teacher, and it was fun cuz nooooobody was there today lol. all the high schoolers finished their finals yesterday, so barely anyone came to school today, so we just got to talk a bit, and then we wandered around the school to try to see if we find any other teachers that we know, but the teachers were all out of their classrooms too, probably finishing grading and running some final school-related errands before break. before we left, we went to our physics teacher's classroom, and i was surprised that he remembered me cuz i never really talked in his class. he even remembered that i was there when it was his first year teaching at my school haha. i felt happy to be remembered, though i feel bad cuz i ditched that class quite a lot...sumimasen. but i stopped after my parents saw all those absences on my report card lol. and then he gave us chocolate before we left. i was the only one that ended up with a black one lol, but that's okay haha xD



i had a lot of fun reminiscing about our high school days together with my friends. i feel so old lol, cuz i the last batch of kouhai that i know are going to be graduating next semester. what was funny though, was that even though the actual high schoolers weren't there, we saw a lot of people that we knew from when we were in high school today haha. it was really nice seeing everyone.

and then we went out to Japantown together. my friend drove us there so we could have a late lunch together, and the four of us split a modern-yaki and an udon omelet, both of which were really good.



and then we went to walk around and did a bit of random shopping. i went to Kinokuniya and went to my usual JE magazine corner xD but January issues weren't out yet, so i didn't get any magazines, but i did get myself this:

i never thought i would spend money on KisuMai, but i REALLY like this single and decided to support them on this one xD they had the one with the making and a digest version of their concert too, but i guess i didn't like them enough to spend 4 extra dollars to get an LE version xD plus, i loved the coupling songs, and the cover for the RE was way prettier xD and OMG, i just opened it and found out that they come with stickers!! *.* i'll probably never use them, but...they're stickers!!

and then we went to visit another one of our other high school friends who works at the mochi place in Japantown, and i got this:


and then my friend walked into this shop to try to find a Christmas present for her brother, and i found this there!!

omg, Buta-usagi!! i've been wanting one lol. they had one that was actual size, but that one was nearly $40 and not worth it, but then i found a small one with the thingy where you can stick it on the window that was $13, still not that worth it maybe, but more affordable, so i bought it cuz i've been wanting a Buta-usagi!!

and then outside Kinokuniya where they have the stands with free newspapers and fliers, i found this:

Arashi and Inoue Mao looked really nice, so i just took one xD

and then we ended the day with some froyo for dessert. those gummy bears were really hard to chew btw lol.

they weren't even gummy xD and one of my friends said her gummy bear crunched when she bit it lol.

that was a lot of fun :DD but i feel like i spent a lot of money orz...but it was all money that i got from selling my stupid textbooks back lol. so i guess it was kinda like exchanging textbooks for more fun stuff xD
